Brad Nathanson specializes in consulting with private investors, institutions, and developers on the sale of shopping centers and net lease properties for Marcus & Millichap. Brad joined Marcus & Millichap in July 2003 and was promoted to Associate Director in 2005 and Director in September 2006 of the National Retail Group respectively. Most recently in May of 2009, Brad Nathanson was awarded the prestigious title of Vice President of Investments. This title serves as recognition of his exemplary performance and acknowledges his consistency in maintaining a very high degree of professionalism. Brad has achieved this title as quickly as possible based on his tenure with the firm. He is also a member of Marcus & Millichap's Special Assets Services Division, which provides a full range of solutions nationwide from early-stage assessment and valuation through disposition. Brad has won many awards along the way distinguishing him as one of the best within Marcus & Millichap. In April of 2007, Brad established the Nathanson Retail Group at Marcus & Millichap. He was recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal in 2008 as one of the top three investment sales brokers within the whole Philadelphia MSA. Brad is consistently asked by local/regional real estate trade journals for his input on the current state of the retail market from a regional perspective. Since joining Marcus & Millichap, he has sold over $600 million in investment real estate in ten different states.
Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap in 2003, Brad was an investment analyst for a hedge fund under several portfolio managers for SEI Investments. While in this position, he was responsible for overseeing the assets for those funds and analyzing their quarterly performance. Brad attended the University of Delaware where he received a B.S. in Finance & Economics. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers; and currently serves on the professional advisory committee for Jewish Family Community Services and the University of Delaware Crew Alumni Committee.
Brent Waterman specializes in the sale of Multi Tenant Office and Industrial Properties and Single Tenant Net Leased Investments in the Mid-Atlantic United States.
Since joining Marcus & Millichap in 2007, Brent has closed multiple transactions and was awarded the prestigious Rookie of the Year Award. Brent joined Brad Nathanson's team in September of 2008 to provide local and regional expertise in both office and industrial properties and to service their clients who invest across product lines.
Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Brent was a principle at Apex Investments, a national stock and index options trading firm, with seats on the American, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Pacific Coast Exchanges. There he oversaw operations, was responsible for making markets, and managed complex arbitrage positions in stock options and futures.
Brent attended Penn State University where he received his Bachelor's degree in Finance and International Business.
Carey Brezler is the Marketing and Transaction Coordinator for Brad Nathanson's team. Carey directs the operations of business administration, and in addition, produces innovative marketing and advertising strategies that maximize growth and expand market penetration.
In addition to working for Brad Nathanson, Carey rows for Penn Athletic Club Rowing Association (PennAC) in Philadephia, PA. Prior to joining PennAC, she competed as a member of the United States Rowing National Team in both national and international championships including the Pan American Games and World Rowing Championships.
Carey attended the University of Pittsburgh where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Rhetoric.
